Behind the name
The name Copper Point Kennels represents two major influences on my life. Copper was my first dog; my mom gave him to me as a gift when I was 15 years old. Copper was a Golden Retriever, and he was the best buddy a teenager could have. I trained Copper on my own, we hunted all over the Midwest for waterfowl and upland birds. I was lucky enough to bring him to college with me.
I attended and graduated from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management and a Minor in Environmental Law Enforcement. While in college, Copper went everywhere with me whether it was to get ice cream at Belts, a run down by the Wisconsin River, or hunting various wildlife areas.

Family & Passion
Copper and Stevens Point will always have a big part of my heart and that’s where the name Copper Point Kennels originated. My passion for the outdoors and dogs started when I was young child. My grandfather and my uncle provided me knowledge and value for these two integral parts of my life. As my journey in life continued, I fell in love with my beautiful wife Aubree, and we have four wonderful children, Savannah, Kyle, Kian and Mason. My family also shares the love for the outdoors and dogs.
I discovered British Labradors in 2018 and fell in love with their temperament, passion, performance with the family and in the field. Copper Point Kennels breeds, trains and hunts Premium British Labradors. We would love for you to experience the joy these amazing dogs have brought to our lives.
